The project involves the interior refurbishment of an apartment located in the city of Brescia, overlooking an avenue lined with linden trees. The design focuses on organizing the living room spaces, which are distinguished by elegant details and fine materials. The primary intervention centers on the kitchen, where a small island covered in Guatemala Green marble serves as the centerpiece of the room and a gathering spot for the owners' informal dinners. The other feature of the project is the partition wall between the living room and the utility spaces, crafted from green lacquered wooden panels. This solution not only delineates the rooms in a functional manner but also enhances the overall harmony and coherence of the design, blending seamlessly with the natural tones that complement the kitchen and living room furniture.
The kitchen island, clad in Guatemala Green marble, and the green lacquered wood wall in the living room draw inspiration from the natural elements visible through the windows. They complement each other harmoniously, creating a refined color dialogue that merges materiality with natural elegance, providing visual continuity across the different spaces. The craftsmanship of the carpenters adds a unique texture to the wall.
